My
guesstimate is that at least 85% of all eBay sellers
will either include a copy of the 'end of auction' e-mail
or no message at all when they ship an item to a buyer. Although
this seems to work OK, wouldn't you rather include a personal
message to the buyer letting him know exactly what transaction
the item is for, what your eBay ID and e-mail address is for
feedback, how much was paid for the item, and other important
artifacts? A big reason that many sellers post more feedback
than they receive is that the a lot of new buyers do not even
know what feedback is or where to leave it.
I just started including my own personal Package
Notes recently, and I believe that every item I've shipped
since then has gotten me great feedback. Not only do the notes
add a sense of friendship between you and the buyer, but they
truly make you appear to be a professional seller who truly
cares about the buyer!
Depending on how much time you have, you can
select between TWO different selling templates
to use for package notes (also see BONUS
below). One is simplified and does not contain any specific
details about your auction, but has enough information to
alert the buyer about feedback, what item it is, and contact
information if he needs to get a hold of you (e-mail address
and user ID). The other one is a detailed version which has
a section in which you can enter all types of information
such as auction number, end price, etc...

In addition to providing
notes for sellers, I have also included notes to use if you
are a buyer and wish to include a message
along with your payment! Never again will a seller get your
payment and be clueless about what you paid for or your address
to ship to.

What's included
in Package Notes 1.2?
Two
professional, friendly seller message templates
Two
professional, friendly buyer message templates
Four
formats of each template (Word, Works 6.0, Plain, and
Rich)

How do I use them?

The included online instruction manual
will show you everything you need to know to use the
templates. No matter what template you use and what
format it is in, you basically replace the blank lines
with text that pertains to the transaction. Within
a minute or two your template will be ready for printing
and sending!
With the four formats
available, you can open the message templates in either
Notepad (all Windows based computers have this program),
Microsoft Word, Microsoft Works, or Wordpad. Depending
on what you select, the format might vary slightly.
