Below you will find a list of sites
which offer free web utilities and services. Each site on
the list has been reviewed by myself, and they are sorted
starting with the best ratings (out of 5). I will never post
a site which I have not manually visited to verified its quality.

| If you need
a quick place to test some HTML code and see how it
will look in a browser, this site is for you. Simply
paste (or type) any HTML code in the text box provided,
click the 'See HTML' button, and the code will be displayed
in HTML format. You can then copy a link from the page
and share your code with others. |

| Most everyone
on the Net has heard of Google by now. Along with a
standard and lightning fast search engine, Google has
a collection of other tools and services. One of these
is the image search, in which you simply enter any search
term and click the search button. Google will search
through MANY pages and return any images that match
your results You can also customize the search to only
display large images, etc... |

| With this online
tool, you can create matching color schemes with a single
click. Simply click on the color of scheme you would
like to create, and instantly various shades of that
color will be shown with the corresponding HEX values.
Each theme has a lot of variations (pastel, contrast,
pale, etc.) and there are even options to ensure the
colors are websafe and more. |

| If you are
unfamiliar with a word or want to see other similar
wards, Dictionary.COM is a great place to visit. The
pages load very quickly, and you can select from either
a standard 'dictionary' or 'thesaurus' to find information
about that word. There are occasional pop-ups, but normally
not. |

| Free Translation
is a site that quickly converts one language to another.
You can convert English into 10 other common languages,
or many other general languages into English. For a
fee you can get text translated by a human. |

| Rather than
manually searching through all the major search engines
for your site to see if it is listed, just use this
simple tool. Enter your web address, and any search
term you want to use to locate your site. Select all
search engines you want to check, and then click the
button! In a minute or two you will have the results,
and when your site is found in a search engine it will
also return the page and position of the match. |

| PC Pitstop
is a free, online-based computer checker. It will run
through your system and analyze various hadware and
software components, then return a summary and any warnings
or errors it found with your system. Use this utility
if your computer is running worse than optimal and you
are not sure of the cause. |

| This an easy
tool that can save you time and troubles. Simply enter
the address of a page, then click the 'Check It Now'
button and the site will go through and warn you of
any errors or broken links you have in your site. |

corresponding HEX values. |

| Although META
tags are not important or even used in online auctions
you create, they are a vital tool when creating websites,
and allow search engines to 'index' your page using
the content found in the META sections. Use this tool
to create META tags automatically, without needing to
manually enter code. |

a site uploaded and want to check the quality of the
META tags within it, you might find this site handy.
Scroll to the bottom of the page, and enter the actual
path to the page you want to check. The site will then
go through and analyze your META tags, and give you
suggestions on ways to improve it. |

| This is a small
and simple tool which will automatically generate a
lot of random words. This can be useful if you want
to place 'template text' in a document but don't have
the actual content typed up. By pasting this random
text into the spot, you can get a visual about how the
document will look. |
