All features listed below are new or have been modified since Version 2.3.1:

• Ability to save template styles. The entire template retrieval process has been re-coded and you are now able to save specific template settings with one click. Previously, each time you started the software the default template style would become active. You can now set the template exactly the way you want it including colors, textures, and font properties - then save the template data with a single click. This is a major time saver as you will no longer need to re-customize the template each time the software is loaded or a new template is selected. You can find the 'Save Template Settings' option under the File menu.

• Actual template files have been updated. Each template included with Dominant Ad Creator has been re-done so that they are each more structured than before. The general layout of each template has remained the same, but the default colors have changed to a more compliant scheme and specific properties of the templates have changed slightly. Most changes made were due to suggestions and comments from Dominant Ad Creator users.

• Auction Terms Color and Font Size can now be specified. Previously, the 'auction terms' font style was determined by the actual template file and there was no easy way to modify it. There is now an 'auction terms' font color and size selector to give you full control over the template appearance. The terms properties are saved directly into each template file, so each template can use its own auction terms color and font size. However, there is also an option which enables you to always use the currently set font color and size regardless of what each particular template specifies!

• Modified Template Selection Window. The area where you select templates has been re-organized and updated to offer a better overview of what each template will look like before you apply it. In addition, each preview contains additional example text and features to provide a more accurate representation of how the template would look with an actual ad.

• 'Select Template' icon added to Main toolbar. For the convenience of Dominant Ad Creator users, you can now get to the Template Selection screen with one click on the Main toolbar instead of having to go through all of the Preferences to get there.

• FedEx Shipping Calculator has been removed. FedEx has disabled all third party access to their shipping calculation page, rendering the FedEx shipping calculator obsolete within Dominant Ad Creator. USPS and UPS still exist, but if you used the FedEx shipping calculator in your auctions please be advised that it will no longer function.

• Minor improvements and additions. Along with the major enhancements mentioned above, many minor enhancements or updates have occurred since the last release. The Customize Template window has been slimmed down, the Color Selection tool has been modified, etc..

2.3.2 Revision Enhancements (09-18-04)

• Optimized FTP Image Uploader. Previously, the image uploading feature of Dominant Ad Creator would disconnect and reconnect to the server after every individual picture was uploaded. This lead to a longer upload process and certain FTP services had trouble. Now, the uploader only makes one connection to the server and then uploads each picture for the current listing before disconnecting. The visual aspect of the image uploader has also improved.

• Revised Template Files. Each of the original template files has been modified slightly so that there is an even border around the actual ad for all templates. This means that if you specify a page background texture within the program, it will create a more attractive appearance on eBay and most other auction sites.

• Improved support for additional templates. The template data is now handled in such a way that allows for additional templates to be created and integrated without any discovered issues.

All errors and bugs listed below have been solved since Version 2.3.1.

• Color Selector bug fixes. Dominant Ad Creator now opens up the color selection screen in 'expanded' mode so that you do not need to click on the 'define custom colors' button each time if you wish to specify a color not already in the palette. In addition, the Color Picker opens up with the current color active which makes the process of changing the color properties much easier.

• Save File issues resolved. There was several issues involving the way files were saved in the previous versions of Dominant Ad Creator, each of this has now been resolved.

• Several other bugs and issues resolved. Certain bugs discovered with templates or with the Dominant Ad Creator preferences have also been resolved.

2.3.2 Revision Bug Fixes (09-18-04)

• Issue with images and template selection resolved. In all previous versions, if a template was even highlighted in the preferences window, the 'Add Images' window would instantly update which caused certain problems if you already had images specified.

• Adjusted Several GUI Properties. A few minor issues with the Graphical User Interface have been resolved. This includes a few gramatical mistakes, Help buttons not functioning on various forms, and other small adjustments.
