screenshots and information below provide a general overview
of how Dominant Ad Creator looks and operates. Each image

Main
Window (Create An Ad)
The main window of Dominant
Ad Creator is where you will spend most of your time.
This is the portion of the software that allows you
to actually write-up your ad including the title,
sub-title, description, and optional information.
You can also change the
font sizes and colors, use predefined HTML functions,
and insert animated text and emoticons to further
enhance your ad.

| Assisted
Submission Tool
The 'Assisted Submission
Tool' will greatly simplify the auction submission
process if you use the US eBay site for your auctions.
This utility features a variety of shortcut buttons
which will do much of the hard work for you (signing
in, generating and inserting the ad, selecting pictures,
etc.), while also allowing you to specify all of the
listing-specific options that you could in the normal
eBay forms.

Add
Images Window
This window allows you
to easily insert pictures into your ads and supports
both HTTP and FTP-based image services. If you have
the FTP option enabled and configured properly in
the Preferences of Dominant Ad Creator, you can simply
click the 'Browse' button next to any field and select
a picture from your local computer (it will automatically
be uploaded when the ad is generated). If you use
an HTTP-based image service then you simply must enter
or paste in the proper image URL into one of the blank
fields.
You can also change the
picture orientation to better accomodate the images
you use. |
Customize
Template Window
Dominant Ad Creator
comes with 20 truly customizable templates. Each
template has a set number of tables and a default
color for each table. Through the Customize Template
window, you can go through and completely change
the colors of the selected template, or even add
background textures to any part of it. You can also
specify an URL for a page background, which will
cover the area surrounding the ad with the texture
you select. After customizing the template to your
liking, you can save the template parameters as
defaults with one click!
If you want to revert
back to the original template colors, you can simply
re-select the template from within the preferences
and the colors will reset.

Preferences
Window (General)
The 'General'
tab of the preferences window gives you the option
to include a link to your e-mail, website, other
auctions, and About Me page (for eBay) all with
a few clicks. Just make sure that you have the appropriate
information filled out if you check one of the options
(for example, if you select to include an e-mail
link, you need to specify your e-mail address in
the section above).
Dominant Ad Creator
can include a link to your other auctions for both
eBay and Yahoo Auctions.

Preferences
Window (Templates & Images)
The second tab in the
Preferences window allows you to specify a variety
of content. You can select a template to use, the
default font for your auctions, etc...
The second half of
the window deals with FTP settings for use with
your images. If you have an FTP account (most ISPs
offer free FTP space for personal use), you can
enter the correct details here and then you will
be able to use the built-in image FTP features to
make the image process quicker and easier.

Preferences
Window (Shipping Tools)
Dominant Ad Creator currently
includes internal shipping calculators for USPS, UPS,
and FedEx shipments. Simply select the type of calculator
you want to include in your listings, then fill out
any additional information required for that particular
calculator.
For each ad you create,
simply change the 'weight' value in the main ad creation
screen to ensure that the shipping calculator produces
accurate results. |
